Passionate about the potential of architecture to bring about positive social and environmental change, Harriets experiences have led to her expertise in the briefing process and community engagement. She enjoys working directly with client, stakeholders, end users and the community - developing trust to allow for a collaborative design process. Listening, learning and honing in on detailed project specific needs, to establish a clear understanding of aspirations and requirements.

Her experience ranges across a range of sectors and project scales, from workplace through to specialist housing, education and healthcare, for private and public sectors. These experiences and specific skills are well suited to Harriet’s specialism in Healthcare design; working with a focus on cross sector stakeholder engagement throughout all work stages, Harriet leads on project knowledge and business development for the Health Sector at the practice.

With Fay Ferguson, she leads the practice’s research into the health and wellbeing sector.

Harriet is an advocate of knowledge sharing and has been involved in developing the practice POE process, promoting the need for lessons learned both inside and outside the practice. Helping to support the practice’s CPD programme, she also provides mentorship for younger practice members. Beyond practice Harriet is involved with outreach work, contributing to rolling programme of educational activities to support children and young people with initiatives such as 6th Form work placements, Inspire!, Architecture in Schools and Edible Rotherhithe. Harriet graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Edinburgh and qualified Part II & Part III with Distinction at the University of Westminster.
