Morris+Company is seeking a new business coordinator for a maternity cover to join its team in London.
The main duties of the new business coordinator role are set out below. This is not intended to be all inclusive and other duties within the studio may be required. It is important that the job holder recognises this and adopts a flexible approach to the role.

This role reports to the associate director.

Role requirements

New business management:

• creation and development of bid submissions, in close liaison with the new business team
• Researching new work leads using relevant sources, such as online tender portals and competition websites
• management of the bid/PQQ/ITT process, deadlines and submissions
• management of framework portals, and day to day submission communications
• tracking new business opportunities within our project management platform (CMAP)
• management of the ‘new business tracker’
• creating and presenting back to the NB team new business opportunity summaries and updates at bi-weekly practice meetings
• managing and coordinating consultants’ contributions to submission documents
• recording all bid clarifications and auditing feedback

Administration:

• project creation setup and closure in our project management platform (CMAP)
• creation of CMAP reports for quarterly review process
• organising, minuting and actioning weekly new business meeting and monthly working on the development of strategic new business programme and opportunities in conjunction with leadership/senior staff
• managing and maintaining the internal ‘go-no-go’ bid/tender process with the new business team
• maintaining consultants’ comparison spreadsheet, keeping an up-to-date log of team information and CV’s
• development and upkeep of the new business templates including, but not exclusive to, capability statements, case studies, CVs, B2B presentations, sector brochures and project packs

Skills required:

• exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• highly organised and calm under pressure
• proven self-starter – able to work independently with a proactive attitude
• excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• good working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams
